C
Every year at Christmas
 F
All I can see
 C
Are pictures of the things I want
 F
Around the tree
          G F
But this years a little different
          G F
Im not thinking of myself
        G F
So my prayer for this Christmas
  G
Is for somebody else

G
So I pray
C G
Joy To the World
 Am F
Peace for every boy and girl
 C G
Hope when life is hard
  Am F
Light when everything seems dark

(Verse 2)
C
God I know youre listening
F
And you can hear
C
The need of every broken heart
F
And all their tears
G F
I dont have a lot to offer
G F
Just this one simple prayer
G F
That this Christmas everyone would know
G
Somebody cares

G
I pray that every hungry soul
Am
Will be filled and will be warm
G
That not a single solitary child
       Am F
Would suffer harm
G
And Lord we find their ending
F
As we take another view
G Am
My hope is that this Christmas prayer
        F G
Would somehow come true

C G
Joy To the World
Am F
