BbmABb CDDCBm (BbC) ==VERSE==
D Once upon a time there was a meeting of minds
C The sun and the moon made a deal with the sky
Bm One would take the morning and the other the night
BbC Together they would blanket the world with light
D But the moon had a shadow, he felt like a liar
C The sun was the only one who carried the fire
Bm The sun saw this, she kept on glowing
(BbC) Bowing to the moon, never saying, "you owe me"
 ==CHORUS==
D She said I'll shine on you (shine on you)
C I will shine on you (shine on you)
Bm I will shine on you (shine on you)
(BbC) I will shine on you
