EAE Oh don't you know that Jesus died
B7 To wash your sins a way
EAE So please heed His call, in sin don't fall
B7E We're getting closer to the grave each day

AE We're getting closer to the grave each day
B7 Mortal man won't you stop now and pray
EAE Leave the road of sin alone, let Jesus lead you home
B7E We're getting closer to the grave each day

AE They nailed His hands, they pierced His sides
B7 On His head the thorns did lay
EAE Be pre pared to go, one thing we know
B7E We're getting closer to the grave each day

AE On the judgement day, when the book is read
B7 There'll be no use to pray
EAE So each day you live, love and for give
B7E
