A D
O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
         A E A
Consider all, the worlds thy hands hath made
  A D
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
           A E A
Thy power throughout the universe displayed
(CHORUS):
              A D A
Then sings my soul, my savior God, to thee,
               E A
how great thou art, how great thou art!
              A D A
than sings my soul, my savior God, to thee,
               E A
How great thou art, how great thou art.

    A D
And when I think, that God His Son not sparing,
            A E A
sent him to die, I scarce can take it in
     A D
That on the cross, my burden gladly baring,
            A E A
He bled and died, to take away my sin.
(CHORUS)
              A D A
Then sings my soul, my savior God, to thee,
               E A
how great thou art, how great thou art!
              A D A
than sings my soul, my savior God, to thee,
               E A
How great thou art, how great thou art
     A D
When Christ shall come, with shouts of acclamation,
            A E A
and take me home, what joy shall fill my heart
     A D
then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
              A E A
and there proclaim; "my God how great thou art."
(CHORUS 2x)
              A D A
Then sings my soul, my savior God, to thee,
               E A
how great thou art, how great thou art!
              A D A
than sings my soul, my savior God, to thee,
               E A
