They were the fastest band I'd ever seen.
Mereka adalah band tercepat yang pernah aku lihat.
No one in the crowd really cared for them,
Tidak ada yang peduli pada mereka di kerumunan,
We were waiting for the Alley Cats to play.
Kami sedang menunggu Alley Cats untuk tampil.
After a couple months I heard Kabuki Girl,
Setelah beberapa bulan, aku mendengar Kabuki Girl,
On Rodney on the Roq late Sunday night.
Di acara Rodney on the Roq larut malam di hari Minggu.
That was enough, for me I hopped the bus,
Itu sudah cukup, aku naik bus,
To licorice pizza and bought my all time favorite record.
Menuju licorice pizza dan membeli rekaman favoritku selamanya.
The next time I went to the whiskey,
Kali berikutnya aku pergi ke whiskey,
It was DOA with millions of Dead Cops.
Ada DOA dengan jutaan Dead Cops.
The latter band played faster than I could believe,
Band yang terakhir bermain lebih cepat dari yang bisa aku percaya,
But the Songs sounded the same and kinda sucked.
Tapi lagunya terdengar sama dan agak jelek.
'Cept John Wayne was a nazi,
Kecuali John Wayne adalah seorang nazi,
And Joey Shithead was a drunk.
Dan Joey Shithead adalah seorang pemabuk.
Then John Macias beat some hippie to a pulp,
Lalu John Macias memukuli seorang hippie sampai babak belur,
Cuz Having long hair was a mistake.
Karena memiliki rambut panjang adalah sebuah kesalahan.
The third time I went to the hospital,
Kali ketiga aku pergi ke rumah sakit,
I needed 13 stitches in my head.
Aku butuh 13 jahitan di kepalaku.
I managed to catch about 6 songs of Ill Repute,
Aku berhasil mendengarkan sekitar 6 lagu dari Ill Repute,
Then some suicidal threw me into a post.
Lalu ada orang yang depresi melemparku ke tiang.
My girlfriend started to cry cuz we had to leave,
Pacarku mulai menangis karena kami harus pergi,
Before DRI played 50 lousy songs.
Sebelum DRI memainkan 50 lagu yang mengecewakan.
My blood stained shirt smelled of clove cigarettes,
Kemeja yang bernoda darahku berbau rokok cengkeh,
But it sure looked pretty cool after a wash.
Tapi pasti terlihat cukup keren setelah dicuci.
