Tak mampu lagi berdiri
Cahaya kasihmu menuntunku
Kembali dalam dekapan tanganmu - Masukkan kata-kata penting. Misal: tiada berarti berdiri cahaya dekapan.

Now my grandfather was a sailor,He blew in off the waterMy father was a farmerI, his only daughter,Took up with a no-good millworking man from MassachusettsWho dies from too much whiskeyAnd leaves me these three faces to feed
Millwork ain't easy; mill-work ain't hardMillwork, it ain't nothing but an awful boring jobI'm waiting for a day dreamTo take me through the morningAnd put me in my coffee breakWhere I can have a sandwich and remember
Then it's me and my machineFor the rest of the morningFor the rest of the afternoonAnd the rest of my life
Now my mind begins to wanderTo the days back on the farmI can see my father smiling at me,Swingin' on his armI can hear my grand-dad's storiesOf the storms out on Lake ErieWhere vessels and cargos and fortunesAnd sailor's lives were lost
Yes, but it's my life has been wasted,And I have been the foolTo let this manufacture use my body for a tool.I can ride home in the evening,Staring at my handsSwearing by my sorrow that a young girlOught to stand a better chance
So may I work the millsJust as long as I am ableAnd never meet the man whoseName is on the label
It be me and my machineFor the rest of the morningFor the rest of the afternoonAnd the rest of my life
